Verified by Visa is a complimentary service that provides a more secure way of purchasing online using your Visa card, giving you peace of mind knowing that only you, the cardholder, can use your Visa card.
Verified by Visa is a free service provided to you by the Credit Union.
And it takes only a few minutes to register. When you register you select a Personal Assurance Message (PAM) and a password. Then, when you purchase online with a participating Verified by Visa merchant (over 80% of merchants who offer on-line purchases have indicated they will participate), you will be shown the PAM and asked to enter your password. It's that simple, just like using your PIN at an ATM.
